Study: Assessment of quality of decentralised evaluations in Norwegian aid management

The Department for Evaluation will follow up previous studies of decentralised evaluations published in 2017, 2020 and 2021.

The Department for Evaluation will follow up previous studies of decentralised evaluations published in 2017, 2020 and 2021, which found that the quality of these evaluations was weak. Decentralised evaluations are evaluations that are commissioned and carried out by those who manage grants in the aid administration. The purpose of the study is to strengthen the quality and use of decentralised evaluations in grant management.
