Verdensbankens utdanningsarbeid i Afrika

Samarbeidet med ”Global Partnership for Educaiton” vil også bli belyst. Videre vil en diskutere Verdensbankens fokus på arbeidsmarkedstiltak, samt implikasjoner for utdanningssektoren.

Norad og UD har gelden av å invitere til dette åpne arrangementet med representanter fra Verdensbankens Afrika-seksjon.

10:15 - 11:15: World Bank's New Focus on Jobs, Skills, Youth Employment and Implications for the Education Agenda in Africa.

The seminar will give an overview  of the context and issues in education in Africa, including the support from the World Bank and GPE. The second part of the seminar will focus on jobs, skills and education in Africa as well as the upcoming World Development Report on jobs and youth employment.
