Martin Herold

Martin Herold is Professor for Geo-information Science and Remote Sensing at Wageningen University (the Netherlands) and co-chair of the GOFC-GOLD land cover team. His research focuses on large area land and forest monitoring and assessments; including approaches to REDD+ monitoring and MRV.

Mr. Herold will moderate Parallel C4: Improving national systems for REDD+ monitoring and MRV – from national to the community level.
