Call for Proposals: Combating Modern Slavery Through Civil Society Norad invites civil society organisations to submit proposals for projects combating modern slavery for the period 2020/2021-2023. NORHED II 2021-2026 Norad supports North-South-South university partnerships for projects on capacity development in higher education and research, through NORHED II. The Norwegian Climate and Forest funding to civil society Norad is entering into agreements with 39 organisations as part of Norway’s International Climate and Forest Initiative (NICFI) for the period of 2021-2025. Call for Proposals: Civil society in a sustainable and inclusive ocean economy Norad invites selected civil society organizations to submit proposals for projects supporting the sustainable and inclusive ocean economy in Colombia, Ghana, Kenya, Indonesia, Mozambique, and Tanzania for the period 2021/2022-2024. Rights of minorities of faith and belief The objective of the grant scheme is to strengthen the rights of minorities of faith and belief and to combat discrimination based on faith and belief in accordance with the principle of the Global Goals to "Leave no one behind". Private Sector Development, Job Creation, Technical and Vocational Education and Training Norad has two grant schemes to support private sector development in development countries. Funds for Women's Rights Call for proposals for efforts concerning Women’s Rights for Civil Society Organizations. Call for applications: Support to research institutions and organizations in Sub-Saharan Africa (Grant scheme 165.70) The main purpose of this call is to finance high quality research for development, based on local needs within thematic priority areas. Supporting civil society in education 2017-2021 Civil society organizations working in the field of education are invited to submit project proposal for initiatives in Burkina Faso, Niger and Mali. Fish for Development and civil society 2018-2022 Norad has invited selected organisations to apply for funding in response to the first call for proposals for civil society under the Fish for Development Programme. Grant Schemes for International Organisations and Networks The overall purpose of Norad’s support to international organisations and network is to ensure their ability to influence national, regional and international decision-makers. EnPe EnPe is the Norwegian Programme for Capacity Development in Higher Education and Research for Development within the fields of Energy and Petroleum (2013-2020). Civil society in the Oil for Development Programme The support for civil society will contribute to the Oil for Development Programme’s third outcome that partner countries authorities are held accountable.
