Isilda Nhantumbo, studied forestry and forestry economics; has been working on natural resources (lands, forests, conservation, agriculture, environment) policy and implementation for over 23 years; focus on participation, rights and equity issues; currently, Senior Researcher on Forests and Climate Change at the International Institute for Environment and Development in the United Kingdom - working on REDD+ (preparation plans, development of strategies, testing REDD+ delivery models at subnational level, gender and generation issues, economics of REDD+ and private sector engagement in REDD+, South-South collaboration). Working with countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
