Hilde Jervan

Chief Advisor, Council on Ethics for the Norwegian Government Pension Fund

Hilde Jervan is Chief advisor at the Council on Ethics for the Norwegian Government Pension Fund-Global and responsible for the Council’s work on logging and deforestation of tropical forests. Before joining the Council, she worked as a private consultant in her own company and with the Nordic consulting firm, Econ, and as a civil servant in the Norwegian Ministry of Environment.  Hilde was involved in developing the ethical guidelines for the Fund. She has experience from many areas including public policy analysis and strategy development in the field of environment and CSR, as well as standard development and certification related to eco-labelling and forest management. Hilde holds a Masters in Agricultural Economics.
