National Level Progress on REDD+

REDD+ Negotiations and Finance

The second plenary session will provide an opportunity for senior government and civil society representatives to describe progress toward REDD+ objectives in their countries, highlighting achievements to date, lessons learned and challenges ahead.  The panel will address the questions:  To what extent are REDD+ efforts catalyzing transformational change in the management of forests? What are the most significant barriers to accelerated progress?  In what ways can the international community provide support for national-level initiatives?
