Frequently asked questions.

Q: Is it ok under this call to invite consortium members - CSOs, which didn't receive this invitation?

A: Yes, but only organizations invited under this call for proposals are eligible as lead applicants. The consortium should have a clear division of labour and each member should represent a clear added value to the consortium and application.

Q: Can we submit more than one application?

A: Organisations are encouraged to submit no more than one application.

Q: Is there a minimum percentage for partners’ own contribution to supplement Norad’s funding?

A: This grant scheme does not have a funding contribution requirement. Other contributions should be made visible in the budget.

Q: On eligibility requirements of applicants (and participants of consortium) we understand that your focus is to support the organizations, which haven't received financing from Norad. Therefore we would like to clarify, as we are receiving a short subgrant from the Institute of War and Peace Reporting (Norad money), so we would like to make sure it would not be a disqualifying factor.

A: The subgrant you are receiving is not a disqualifying factor to receive funds from this invitation-based call.

Q: On Objective 3 of the Call  "To strengthen civil society’s advocacy concerned with policy, enforcement and regulatory environment for the promotion of integrity and accountability of economic actors" we'd like to clarify, whether it can include joint civil society campaigns (where we learn and build our capacity by doing) or only external capacity building for other actors (mentorship, training etc).

A: This objective can include expenditures for joint civil society campaigns.

Q:  There is a reference to a "table below" in the budget tab, where can we find this table?

A: Please see the budget template which has been posted on norad.no, included in the box called “More information/ Mer informasjon”: Supporting Accountability through Civil Society in Ukraine (by invitation only) | Norad.no
