Норвегія є довгостроковим партнером України. Завдяки програмі Nansen Норвегія надає Україні життєво важливу гуманітарну допомогу, сприяє зміцненню енергетичної безпеки та відновленню, підтримує демократію, верховенство права та права людини, а також цілеспрямовано бореться з корупцією. Норвегія виділила 204,5 мільярда крон на програму Nansen до 2030 року. На даний момент на цивільну допомогу виділено 30 мільярдів крон.

Norwegian support brings hope to families of Ukraine’s missing
The war in Ukraine has left a devastating impact on thousands of families, with over 57,000 people registered as missing. This includes both civilians and soldiers who have disappeared during fighting, forced deportations, and other war-related events. Thanks to a three-year project funded by Norway with NOK 100 million, the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) is helping Ukraine strengthen its ability to locate the missing and support their families.

Elections in Moldova - Norwegian support to ensure fair elections
On 20 October, Moldova held presidential elections and an EU referendum. The ‘yes’ side to enshrining EU membership in the constitution won by a small margin, while the presidential election will be finally decided on 3 November. Norway is supporting electoral institutions in Moldova through the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to facilitate fair elections.

Repeated attacks have destroyed critical infrastructure, leading to prolonged power outages and a precarious energy situation—particularly with winter approaching. To address urgent needs and increase resilience, it is essential to help Ukraine build a decentralized and flexible energy network that is harder to disrupt. Green and decentralized energy systems play a central role in this strategy, supported by Norway and international partners.
