Join us for a dynamic event highlighting how India and Norway are working together to tackle marine and plastic pollution. The event will feature updates from both countries, with a special focus on the project “Raising Awareness on Marine Pollution”, led by the Afroz Shah Foundation in collaboration with Norwegian partners.
This project is part of the India-Norway Marine Pollution Initiative, under the Task Force on the Blue Economy for Sustainable Development, and contributes directly to the bilateral oceans dialogue at the level of the Foreign Ministers.
A key part of the event will be the signing of a Letter of Intent to extend the initiative from 2025—a major deliverable just ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s official visit to Norway and keynote speech by Afroz Shah.
