Guidance for strategic civil society partners in the call for proposal sustainable food system for food security

Strategic civil society partners that are approved in the thematic area food security can submit a simplified application as described in section 9 b) in the Rules for strategic civil society partners.
As per the Rules, a simplified application means that strategic civil society partners in this call for proposal do not need to:
- Document the organisation’s capacity and competence in the thematic area food security.
- Information related to what this specific project aims to accomplish in the area of food security must be described.
- Document the legal status of the organisation and information on the Board of Governance.
- Describe systems for results-, financial- and risk management in the organisational details in the Grants Portal. I.e. in all fields starting with ‘Brief description of...’; kindly refer to the status as a strategic civil society partner.
- Submit operational guidelines for partner selection and follow-up.
- Information about partners in this specific project must be submitted.
- Document systems and routines for risk management, internal control and code of conduct.
- Document how your organisation and partner organisations work to reduce the most significant negative environmental impact of the organisations’ operations.
Additional points to consider when submitting your application:
- Attachments in the organisational details in the Grants Portal must be the latest versions at the time of submitting a proposal to Norad.
- The risk analysis must contain relevant risk factors for negative impact on cross-cutting issues for this specific proposal.
- Strategic civil society partners shall use the budget template for strategic civil society partners.
