In December 2010 a gender team1 from Norad undertook a study trip to Zambia in order to learn about women, gender and conservation agriculture. Conservation agriculture is central in climate adaptation. For 2011, GoN has earmarked NOK 100 million from the “gender budget line” for climate adaptation, with a focus on women and gender issues. Below, follow some general findings and recommendations from the study tour.
