Aliou Diouf

Dr Aliou Diouf studies Geography in Senegal and in Canada, where he defended his thesis on The ecological impacts of the rupture of the socio-economic systems in Senegal. He has studied and worked on ecosystems and climate change vulnerability and adaptation issues at SNC Lavalin (Canada), at UCAD and at IDRC (Senegal). Currently as Program officer, Dr. Diouf is working at Enda Energy-Environment-Development on socio-ecological interactions, climate change vulnerability and adaptation issues, and participatory tools development. He is also leading AfricaAdapt, a continental knowledge sharing network focused on climate change adaptation.

Dr. Diouf will attend Parallel A2: Climate smart landscapes. Forest-agriculture linkages.
