Programme Specialist, Governance and Accountability, REDD+, UNDP, UN-REDD Programme

Estelle Fach is a programme specialist on governance accountability for REDD+, working in the UNDP team of the UN-REDD Programme. In this role she coordinates governance activities for REDD+ on anti-corruption as a social safeguard for REDD+, both within the Programme and with national counterparts and NGO partners. Prior to this she worked at UNDP on effective engagement of local communities in the response to AIDS, biodiversity and responses to climate change, and has authored articles and chapters on legal empowerment of the poor. She holds an MS in International Law from New York University and a MS in bio-analytical chemistry from Ohio State University.

Ms. Fach will attend Parallel C1 Information for Accountability: Capturing progress and lessons learned from efforts to improve the transparency of spatial data.
