Eric Wakker

Eric Wakker has executed numerous research and advisory projects relating to natural resource management and trade, with a focus on forestry and plantation industries in Southeast Asia - Pacific and their interactions with market actors in Europe and North America.

Following the 1997/98 great forest fires in Indonesia, Eric worked with various clients to document and addresses the manner in which international financial institutions facilitate the expansion of the Asian palm oil industry. He has worked with AidEnvironment since 1997 and represents its Asia office since 2005.
