Reduced deforestation and higher crop and livestock yields in Brazil, Indonesia, Colombia, Paraguay, and Ghana; increased supply of certified palm oil, soy, sugar cane, and beef.
Outcomes
(a) Farms, Forest, and Finance Consortium focused on creating a shared strategy and implementation plans for supporting transition to low emissions rural development (LED-R) in 4 priority jurisdictions (Brazil - 2, Indonesia, Colombia) and building enabling condi tions in five jurisdictions (Brazil 2, Indonesia, Paraguay, and Ghana).
(b) Multi-stakeholder dialogues established, plausible LED-R scenarios developed and vetted, and support for LED-R secured from political leaders, the agricultural sector (industrial agriculture and small holders), and financial institutions (public and private) in target jurisdictions.
(c) Initial LED-R implementation tested in 6 target jurisdictions (Brazil-3, Indonesia-2, Colombia).
