Evaluation of support to civil society by Norway’s International Climate and Forest Initiative

Norway’s International Climate and Forest Initiative (NICFI) provides support to civil society organisations through several grant agreements administered by Norad, the embassies and the Ministry of Climate and Environment. A wide range of organisations receive support, from local indigenous organisations to international organisations.

The evaluation will initially look at Norad's management of the support for civil society. This will be followed by an evaluation of the effects of civil society support, focusing on support for indigenous peoples and local communities.
