Civil Society Development Dialogue - An annual conversation between the Government and Civil Society
Norad's Director General Bård Vegar Solhjell will represent Norad. Lysa John, the Secretary General of CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizens Participation will partake together with Adriana Ramos, Policy Advisor, Social and Environmental Policy and Law Programme, Instituto Socioambiental in Brazil, Henriette Westhrin, the General Secretary of Norwegian People’s Aid and Hector Ulloa, President of Norwegian Students’ and Academics’ International Assistance Fund.
Norad has chosen to focus this year’s conversation on the trends of civic space and what can be done to respect, protect and promote civic space with a specific focus on Norwegian development partner countries.
Lysa John, the Secretary General of CIVICUS: World Alliance for Citizens Participation will partake together with Henriette Westhrin, the General Secretary of Norwegian People’s Aid.
Norad is inviting two representatives of each civil society organisation with an ongoing grant agreement with Norad to join physically, while there is no limits to online participation.
