Oil for Development in Madagascar

Oil for Development was on September 1st 2009 criticized in the Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten for contributing to oil sand production in Madagascar.

A response from The Minister of the Environment and International Development Erik Solheim, which rejected these claims, was published in Aftenposten on September 3^rd 2009. Oil for Development has also published several documents about its environmental activities related to the project in Madagascar.
