Afghan Hydrocarbon bid deadline extended

As several potential bidders have indicated that they will need more time to evaluate the potential of the blocks on offer, the Ministry of Mines has decided to extend the bid deadline of the First Afghan Hydrocarbon Bidding Round to 15 November 2009.
