In its first round, the Norwegian Programme for Capacity Development in Higher Education and Research for Development (NORHED) will fund 46 joint projects between higher education institutions in low- and middle-income countries and Norway.
Villa Kulild, Director General of Norad is pleased with the NORHED announcement and says the projects will enable more people in developing countries to gain higher education and shape their own development policy via research. See article
