William D. Savedoff

Senior Fellow, Center for Global Development

Bill Savedoff is a senior fellow at the Center for Global Development (CGD) where he works on issues of performance payments, impact evaluation, and corruption. At CGD, Savedoff played a leading role in the Evaluation Gap Initiative and co-authored Cash on Delivery Aid with Nancy Birdsall.

Before joining CGD, Savedoff worked for the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Health Organization, and Social Insight. He has published books and articles on labor markets, health, education, water, and housing including “What Should a Country Spend on Health?” Governing Mandatory Health Insurance, and Diagnosis Corruption.

Mr. Savedoff will attend Parallel E1 Payment for performance – Key lessons and challenges for REDD+ .
