Gregory Barker

Gregory Barker is a Minister of State at the Department of Energy & Climate Change. He was elected Conservative MP in Sussex in June 2001 and served on the House of Commons Environmental Audit select committee between 2001 and 2005.

Barker served as Shadow Minister for the Environment from 2005 to 2008, where he led the passage of the Climate Change Bill for the Opposition through the House of Commons, and as Shadow Minister for Climate Change between 2008 and 2010. He was appointed Minister of State for Department of Energy & Climate Change in May 2010.

Mr. Barker will attend Plenary 1: REDD+ Negotiations and Finance.
