Duncan Brack is an independent environmental policy analyst. He is an Associate Fellow of Chatham House (Royal Institute of International Affairs) and an Associate of Forest Trends. From 2010 to 2012 he was special adviser at the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change.

Before that he worked for Chatham House, and from 1998 to 2003 was head of its Sustainable Development Programme; his work included international environmental regimes and institutions, the interaction between environmental regulation and international trade rules, and international environmental crime, particularly illegal logging and the trade in illegal timber. He was also a specialist adviser to the House of Commons Environment Select Committee and Environmental Audit Committee.

Mr. Brack will attend Parallel B2 Demand side policies in consumer countries.
