Amar Inamdar
Amar Inamdar is the global focal point for dispute resolution and prevention, part of operations risk management, at the World Bank. He has pragmatic on-the-ground experience of implementing sustainable development solutions in emerging markets.
Until early 2011, he was Principal Specialist in the office of the Compliance Advisor/Ombudsman for IFC and MIGA where he led the team focused on addressing citizen complaints on complex and sensitive corporate projects around the world. Prior to joining the Bank he founded, managed and sold a successful consulting firm serving global clients in emerging markets. Amar has a BA from Oxford University and a PhD from the University of Cambridge.
