Lessons from UN Support of Conflict Affected Countries in the Context of UN Peace Operations

The purposes of the seminar is to:

• learn about challenges associated with this type of evaluations
• concrete changes that the evaluations have instigated
• to identify common challenges for UN  activities in conflict affected countries, and
• to discuss solutions to these challenges. 

The seminar will include contributions from United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Office of Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS), the UN Secretariat,  and the Peacebuilding Support Office (PBSO).
 
Cedric de Coning, will act as moderator in the seminar. He is head, Peace Operations and Peacebuilding, NUPI, Peacekeeping & Peacebuilding Advisor, ACCORD
