Evaluation out to tender: Evaluation of the World Bank Multi-Donor Trust Fund for Health Result Innovation (HRITF)

In 2007 Norway signed a contract with the World Bank to establish a Multi-Donor Trust Fund for Health Result Innovation (HRITF), and in 2009 the United Kingdom c/o DFID signed a contract for long term support to the fund.

The total contractual amount from the United Kingdom and Norway is more than 500,000,000 USD up until 2020. The aim of the fund is to reduce mother and child deaths through support for the implementation, evaluation and communication of knowledge on various forms of result based financing in the poorest countries.

The evaluation has two aims: to assess the performance of the trust fund and to provide recommendations that can improve current operations and future programming and governance of the initiative.
